Great Case |

I bought this case for my white 13" Macbook a couple of weeks ago. I also bought a hardshell case from Apple to give my laptop as much protection as possible. The computer, and the hardshell case that I put on it, fit perfectly in this sleeve. This case is classy and provides the perfect amount of space to keep my macbook safe. I am very happy I bought it!! some of the other reviews have said that it doesn't have enough padding. I guess it is up to your personal preference. If you are going to buy a hardshell case (they are super pricy) then this is the way to go, if not, and this is your macbook's only protection then you might want to go with a case with more padding and protection. |

Fine Battery, Terrible Fit |

Reviewed on 9th August 2010:

Overall it is a fine product, the battery life is just about the same as the original one new. The problem is the battery does not fit perfectly and will randomly slip enough that the entire computer shuts down. Having a computer that lasts longer than 10 minutes unplugged (the old battery) isnt really worth it if it just randomly shuts down with no warning. I'm probably going to just duct tape mine and it will work but as is the product kind of sucks. |

When I purchased this on-line my reason was that it looked hip and had that (what I thought) was some sort of tribal design. I had looked at the ones in the Macstore where they had all these covers in bright colors and blooming monkey faces on them -sorry, I am not a metrosexual! However, upon receiving it, you realize the design is a lot more "flowery" that it looks on screen -yes, my next purchase are going to be better spectacles. This really is not a quibble just a warning to other lads who are not cruising Tommy Bahama and all that other metro-ballocks.
My only true worry about it is that it I wonder about the padding. I discovered the hard way with my PC of 5 years that putting it in a suitcase enroute to Boston airport is not a good idea -cracked screen! The covers in the Apple Store (the ones with the Monkey faces) all seemed to have more padding. I took this on a flight recently to Los Angeles and my wee MacBook was just fine.... I just wish the flowery design didn't give me as many odd looks:0 |

Great battery - Great price |

Reviewed on 29th May 2010:

I know there are a lot of complaints on here about this but I haven't had one of them. The shipping was fast and reasonable. The replacement battery is very good so far. It's like almost identical to the original with the exception of a darker silver color than the rest of the body but it's on the bottom, who cares? It's 1/3 the price of a Apple bat. Fit is pretty good, sticks out just a hair. It's not enough to really notice but if you run your finger over it towards the rear, you can feel it but it's hard to detect visually. I charged it last night and this morning I let it run on battery and I was getting a little over 2 hours. That's about the same I got with the original battery, maybe a little less. On that two hours of charge time, I was working on normal type stuff - checking email, web surfing, checking and changing settings (just upgraded to Snow Leopard). I haven't tried watching a movie on battery yet.
I took a chance on this one and so far, so good. |

I work at a store that also sells these computer sleeves so I know what the price range can be (generally $40 and up) and none of them seems to have as much as protection and as this Be.Ez. Not only did I get it for half as much but I feel like it's a superior product. The lip doesn't get caught just like other reviewers mentioned. The cushioning is excellent (unlike other furry/felt fabric ones of other brands that feels nice to touch but doesn't give as much shock absorbency). Plus it comes with a wire-mesh with zipper bag that I re-used to keep my accessories (mouse, laptop chargers, etc). You won't regret this purchase! Worth every $!. |

I am using this sleeve for an Acer Ultra Portable laptop and this is a good solution. The foam is thick enough to absorb minor abuse and the zippers are heavy duty. The edges have a little extra padding, which is nice when you have to carry your laptop around for a while. I think the Acer I have is smaller than the Macbook, so I ended up with a bit more extra space in the sleeve for a few extra documents and a usb stick. |

Perfect fit, perfect look, perfect feel, and perfect price. I was hesitant about buying this for such an attractive price as opposed to the more popular Incase brand for 50% more but I am glad I did. Fits very well and the zipper isn't prone to scratching the laptop. I also let my computer rest on the case when using it to avoid it getting dirty or scratched when traveling. Cool look and fast shipping. Can't beat it for only $20.
Also, please note that the 13" MacBook Pro is slightly larger in all three dimensions than the regular MacBook which might make it a tight fit. For a MacBook the fits is just right. |

This adapter only works with some projectors, and even then will briefly flicker out with the message "cannot locate computer". Within a couple of seconds the picture returns. With other projectors, your computer screen will become wildly distorted and useless. Genuine Apple adapters are said to have the same problems. A downloadable fix is apparently available, but you have to be connected to the projector at the time. I travel from school to school doing presentations with a variety of projectors, and this is not always available to me. I suggest that you always set up early when using this in case it fails. Also, have a backup plan. There are dozens of complaints about this on the Apple website, so it is not unique to this brand. Good luck. |

As far as the disputes on the 'pink' color, I dont know what the other reviews were talking about. It may not look salmon pink in the picture but the color is named appropriately. Salmon pink it certainly is. I like it, and am already thinking about the Golden Sands one... Thanks again! |

Any mac is better than any other kind of computer. They don't freeze, they don't get viruses, they very rarely crash, they are faster and can have 10 applications open without slowing down. I have 8 days worth of music on my computer and it hasn't slowed down a bit. The power cords are magnetic so if somebody trips over the cord it won't pull your laptop onto the floor. The extra money you pay for it is worth it. If you buy a regular $300 crappy computer you will just pay even more than that trying to get rid of viruses. |

This case is for the old Macbook model, will NOT fit the new ones. Be smart and check model before you buy, unlike many people here who were too lazy to read the product details before they bought it and are now complaining about this great asset for Mac.
After a month using this great case in my Macbook White, all I can say is that I'm totally pleased with it. It was easy to install in my Macbook and it comes with a friendly cloth to clean your Macbook with - do that before you put the case on, and there shall be no scratches. It fits perfectly and does not interfere with the use of side ports or the cooling system. It does protect from scratches, which is the case's main purpose.
I got the red case, and I think my Macbook looks lovely on it. The color is beautiful, really, quite lively. Now, it does seem quite heavier - which is funny, since the case alone isn't heavy at all O_o -, but I think it's quite a small price to pay for a scratchless mac.
If you do buy it, remember the manufacturer instructs you to remove the case once in a while, wipe the surfaces of the Macbook and the case clean and put it back on to prevent from scratches or use marks.
Anyway, Im quite pleased with it so far :] |
